Stained Glass Series

 A collection of acrylic non-objective paintings on canvas. 

I love the energy and joy that bold, bright colours bring. In this series, colour is the subject. Each painting represents a fun and challenging puzzle I worked to solve and reimagine with each colour that was added. 

These paintings explore how colours can create energy, contrast and even change in how they are perceived depending on what colours surround them. Colours can work together, or set each other apart. The swirls, like stained glass set together to form a window pane, create light, energy, movement and rhythm.
